His answer came as a grunt, but it wasn't entirely rude. Raynulf, Ashala thought the name fit him somehow. Waiting a few moments to give him time to get decent, she turned around to face him again.
He looked quite different in the small vest and short trousers. Less beastly, not quite as wild, much more of a man than animal now. He wasn't handsome, he was far too blunt, crudely featured, and rough to be handsome, but Ashala began to see a certain rugged charm to him. He also looked completely exhausted, tired beyond measure. His trial of captivity had obviously not allowed much rest. Ash's heart ached for him a little.
"Well Raynulf, I think it's been a long day for us both. And we'll have plenty of time to chat and talk about our next steps in the week-long voyage to Ero-Ti. I think tonight we should just try and get some well deserved rest." Ashala told him, her voice peppy and warm as she felt a few degrees more confident.
